Talking About Sex
We often talk about our sex lives either in private or publicly. It might be out of the need to be told how exciting it is or simply to boast about our sexual prowess. But then, how does it really feel like talking about your past sex life with your spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend and how exactly do you feel when your partner begins to tell you all the sultry details of their past sex life, especially when you have not tried some of the sexual acts described by your partner with relish and nostalgia?

I would hate to hear all the sordid details... Its just not necessary... but I would want to know the amoutn of sexual partners and if it was too many I'd probably be put off if I'm honest.
Gosh i wouldnt want to hear past sexual deeds said with relish oh,lol...i just accept that he has a past and move on...i am more concerned with the future
very messy situation. lol. i guess some of the statements to avoid are:
"that was the best sex of my life!"
"he did this move that always made me..." (esp if u havent done that with ur partner)
i guess dont kiss and tell!
@Nollywood Forever
I will always try not to be behind on my updates. If you want to know, you would be told.
@Anonymous
"I am more concerned with the future". Lol.
@Bumight
I agree with you it's a merry situation.
Honestly, hearing talks about sex from someone could be interesting but when your partner or someone you’ve got the hots for feeds you with explicit details of past sexual activity, you simply want to slap the person. In short, some details are best kept out. Well, it still depends on personality though. Some people just don’t mind.
Either you keep your juicy details to yourself or learn about new and exciting positions and limits and run with it.
Hey,
Come on over!
Hmm this is a tricky situation as bumight says 'the best ever' should never be mentioned...and not seeming like u'd do anything to relive that moment again coz egos will definitely be crushed n all..sigh
ayama!!!! :)
nna odikwa'nma??? e don tey wey we c ur brake lite o
Talking about your past escapades with a current partner might go either way; They might be willing to try it, or they might just make some negative conclusions about you from your stories. Sometimes, some things are better with sealed lips.
I have friends who would insist you talk about your past. I have friends who couldnt care any less and would rather not know what happened in your past....to each, his/her own.
@Geebee
I hope no one tells you such stories that's gonna make your slapping hand fly.
@Femi B
And i guess you're going to go with the later of your two choices.
@Naija Bloggers Awards
You bet i'm gonna come over.
@ShonaVixen
You're damn right about egos being crushed when comparisons come to play.
@LG
Ada di mma, udo di. I've been working on some locations and they were all demanding.
@Naija Girl
You're right girl. Different folks, different strokes.
I definitely do not want to hear the details. i think its better if both parties keep thier past sex lives to themselves. Because someone like me, i go vex o. Am very jealous!
I wouldn’t ever ask my man about his past!
I know it must have been good because the things he does to me……
lol
nah people should not bother...it complicates issues
@African Weight Loss Diva
I hear you! Someone could get jealous.
@Because of the things he does to you? Baby, you are one lucky girl. Enjoy.
@Dabizniz
I agree with you that it sure complicates issues.
I cant talk about my sex life in public. I dont like to get that question..." was I better than your ex"....wow
Funny enough I found out the hard way...
Was friends with this guy whom I secretly liked, didnt know he secretly liked me too..lol..kept boasting about being a benue girl and how he wouldn't be able to keep up...the guy chilled out a bit...he started asking me out a year later and said I scared him when I made that comment...since then I keep my sex secrets to my girls....and blogville of course...
Got an assignment for you on my blog...well it will be there after 10:30am.....need ur help!
errrm no be you be nollywood forever?
BTW, is this supposed to count as my sultry story??? Nice try!
i really dont want to know. then i get curious...and then get fiercely jealous...
maybe the past shd stay where it belongs....
I really don't know what to say cos never been in a situation like this...
But i think if pple have a past sexual history, they don't need to brandish it in each other's faces!
hmm, that was splendid
One of the things I found interesting lately is to talk about my sex life with friends especially intimate ones and one good reason is that when you bring up the topic, it opens up a whole wealth of discussion that will surely widen your experience. However this topic could be boring when you speak with our fellow Africans. The main reason is because we are brought up to see sex as a taboo and sin and therefore nothing to be discussed. For instance how may girls would be comfortable answering this question, 'What is the biggest cock you have ever had?', she will not answer that because she might feel shy. Ignorance plays a part too. Out of every 100 Nigeria guys, it is only about 5 that knows the size of their cock while only 2 knows how to measure it in the first place. Therefore, unless we begin to talk openly about this, we may not advance a big in this interesting field. There is nothing sinful or tabooic about sex. It is simply good and cements relationship.
