What Is Love?
When you hear the word love, do you smile or do you scoff? Have you ever personally speculated on or did a personal philosophy on love? If you were asked to define love, would you go to the dictionary for a guide, another person or have you got sufficient personal experience to define love from your own worldview?

Hmmm, L O V E...you know Emeka love is a very powerful word. It means so many things to many people. You cant possibly get the same response from everyone. Love, to me, is suppose to be the feeling of never letting go, a moment of forever and eva, a touch in your life where nothing else matters but that person that is in your heart. But im sure that everyone sees it differently...
I dont even think that people take this word as serious as it should be. This word, love, has caused many their lives, dignity, self respect, and even their own security. It lies a joke at the hand of some while at the expense of others. Yep youve guest it....
Ive used your blog to vent. Sorry about that but when you are truly in love and someone else abuses your heart...it truly hurts. You then cant seem to move on ...even with another man cos you wonder what is real anymore...

LOL, funny I just blogged about the closest thing I ever felt to love.
But besides that one encounter, Love is foreign to me. I don't scoff at it actually. I always read quotes about loving with your whole heart and blahblah and I doubt that I can pull down the walls around my precious heart to do so. Love is a risk to me and I don't want to be anyone's fool.

Love is a misguided emotion that allows one to lay down the intellect and self respect for a fleeting moment of reprieve from the horrors of living. Love is a temporary loss of sanity.

Well, all my definitions of love have been proven wrong..
I used to think it was that feeling of "He will cme rescue this Cinderella" Then I realised Cinderella was just a story that is almost impossible in this day and age..
Then I tot it was that "You will feel like you are floating at the first kiss" but then I realised during my first kiss that my mouth was full of his saliver...
Then I tot it was that "I will die if you leave me" then I realised I didnt die..
Then I tot it was the "My body gets hot when he is around" feeling but then one day my body froze up on him and could never heat up anymore..
Now I think love is being comfortable enough with someone to not want to kill him.....yet!!!

Without looking at a dic. I will say love is a warm feeling you have for someone. It's uncoditional, it's non-gudgemental. It was feels your heart with pure joy when u think of this person or this being

Hmm I dont know if i have actually ever been in love, but for me love is sharing, caring, praying and giving 100% of yourself to someone else without feeling like you are doing a chore. :)

I believe it's one of the things that love can do.
LOVE - So many people use this word in vain, so easily without understanding its meaning...I smile when I hear love, I smile when I say love because I only say it when I feel it...

I cant define love...i just know that it's what you feel and when you do feel it, its distinct. Love for different people may hold different meanings but it is the epitome of every feeling beautiful and fulfilling.
